“Enhancing Employee Experience”

Tiffany Rivers’ drive to innovate comes from a true passion for helping the people she has come to know over her 15 years in the workplace management software industry. “I hear their frustrations about having to use a dozen different outdated systems to justify consolidating two buildings into one, or moving away from assigned seating,” she states. “This has made me even more determined to pro-vide solutions to improve space planning, technology integrations, data analytics, operations, and the overall employee experience.” She is constantly learning from customers, industry analysts, and em-ployees to stay ahead of emerging trends. “It takes a certain curiosity and a vision, but then you need to be able to inspire others to work with you to create solutions,” says Tiffany. “At iOFFICE, we are for-tunate to have a whole team of amazingly talented developers, account executives, customer support representatives, product managers, marketers and others who can turn that vision into a reality.”

One great example of this is Space-Right™, a new space planning solution developed to help custom-ers reconfigure their workplaces for physical distancing during the pandemic. This was their most pressing need, yet nothing like this existed before. “Our engineers and product development teams came up with the idea during a hackathon, and two months into the pandemic, we introduced a solu-tion that would not only help customers reopen offices safely, but also implement more flexible space strategies in the future,” she states.

“iOFFICE creates the most responsive, frictionless workplaces everywhere through space planning, employee experience, and asset management SaaS solutions.”

As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, Tiffany, along with the entire talented team, will continue to expand their asset and workplace management solutions. “We are focused on providing enterprises with the solutions they need to reopen their offices safely, but many of these same solu-tions also support new ways of collaborating in the hybrid workplace,” she explains. “Space manage-ment software allows workplace leaders to reconfigure spaces and make them reservable which also makes it easier for them to plan for a variable number of employees coming into the office each day.” This is especially important for companies that are adopting flexible seating arrangements.

The company continues to explore solutions to improve strategic space planning by automating manu-al processes with machine learning and artificial intelligence. They are expanding their asset manage-ment solutions to streamline inspections, invoicing, vendor management, and other key areas. “While we support many industries, we are particularly focused on expanding solutions for corporate real es-tate, technology, financial, manufacturing, and construction,” she states.

According to Tiffany, facilities management has traditionally been a more male-dominated field, but that is changing, especially as the role has evolved to focus more on connecting people and technology and maintaining buildings and systems. That said, women who want to succeed as facilities leaders, as software pioneers, or as sales or marketing directors need to speak the language of their industry with confidence and use data to back up their recommendations. “I believe a leader’s greatest responsibil-ity is to give their team a clear vision, equip them with the skills and support they need to execute it, and let them amaze you,” explains Tiffany. “I’ve always tried to take this approach with the women on my own team and those I may influence in other areas of the organization. I set high standards for everyone I lead and I think they would all agree that I challenge them, but ultimately, I trust them to use their best judgement.”

What Tiffany loves about her job is being able to build relationships with customers and innovative workplace leaders all over the world. “It’s truly inspiring to hear what they’re doing to create a better experience for their employees, manage growth, and improve their processes,” she adds. “We share insights from them each week on our Workplace Innovator podcast, which is a great place to get inspi-ration from the best and brightest in just 20 minutes. If you’re curious to learn more about the future of work and the technology enabling it, I encourage you to tune in. And if you have a great story to tell, we’d love to have you as a guest!” IE
